Hello my friends!!!!
Spring is here for good and there is no better time to get involved with your flowers. For those of us without a garden, even a small planter with an indoors plant is enough to bring a country air in our house!
What you are going to need
Tin cans (I used the ones I had from my daughter’s cream)
Newspaper of magazines (whatever you prefer)
Scissors
White glue
Brush
Lace trim
Can opener
Procedure
First you cut the newspaper into middle sized pieces. Try to choose parts of the paper with photos or with “happy articles”.
Dilute the glue with some water. For example use one part glue and one part water. Use the brush to apply the diluted glue onto your tin can and then start gluing the pieces of paper.
Then brush over the paper with some more glue. It is possible that you’ll need two layers or paper in order for the tin can not to be visible at all.

Just before the glue dries take your lace trim and put it on the tin can. Then brush over it with some more glue. The planter is almost ready. You just have to let it dry for one day.
The last touch on our work is to open 3-4 holes with a can opener in the bottom of the tin can in order for the water to be able to strain away when you water your plant. It is now ready to use!
First put some small pebbles and then add the soil. Lay your plant on top of the soil and add some more accordingly.
It is a pretty, original and recycled item that is sure going to add some joy to your house.
Happy creating!!!
Lovely recycling idea!!!!
