You wake up in the morning, you open the window and what you see? An amazing huge Sun! Oh yes! Summer is here finally! So get ready... white cloths? beige cloths? maybe a linen minimal outfit? or maybe a more chic one? But I want color! And I feel girly today!!!! I know! Fruits and colors and girly designs in my style! Dora where are you????
Ξυπνάς λοιπόν το πρωι, ανοίγεις το παράθυρο και τι να δεις; Έναν εκπληκτικό μεγάλο ήλιο! Ω ναι! Το Καλοκαιρι ειναι επιτέλους εδω! Οπότε για να ετοιμαστούμε... λευκά ρουχα; μπεζ ρουχα; ή μήπως λινα απλα ρούχα; ή ίσως κάτι πιο εντυπωσιακό; Θελω χρωμα όμως! Και εχω παιχνιδιαρικη διάθεση σημερα! Το βρήκα.... φρούτα και χρωματα και νεανικα σχεδια στο ντυσιμο μου! Δώρα που εισαι;;;;

| Summer Fruit Dangle Earrings |
A cold coffee and a fruit salad please! Kiwi, pineapples, watermelons, passion fruits....I love them! Small charms, statement necklaces, cute studs, friendship anklets, unique rings, glitter pendants...too many to choose! One think is for sure... whatever I will wear from Petite Utile, I will be unique! Dora's creations can travel us to an exotic place (you know... aqua blue sea and gold sand and you on the beach enjoying a cold Pina Colada) or back to the past when we were teenagers (at the age that we used to wear so many color and so unique designs). Whatever you prefer, Petite Utile creations are must have for this Summer! I am already enjoy them and I adore them because I love colors and so uncommon designs!
Ένα παγωμένο καφε και μια φρουτοσαλάτα παρακαλώ! Ακτινιδια, ανανάδες, καρπουζια, φρούτα του πάθους... τα λατρευω! Μικρά κρεμαστα, επιβλητικά κολιε, γλυκουλια σκουλαρικάκια, βραχιόλια ποδιου για εμενα και τη φιλη μου, μοναδικα δαχτυλίδια, κρεμαστα με χρυσοσκονη... τοσα πολλά να διαλέξεις! Αλλά ένα είναι σιγουρο: ότι και να φορέσεις από το Petite Utile θα είσαι μοναδικη! Οι δημιουργίες της Δώρας μπορούν να σε ταξιδέψουν σε ένα εξωτικό νησι (ξερεις τι εννοω... καταγάλανα νερά, χρυση άμμος και εσύ πάνω στην παραλία να απολαβάνεις ένα κοκταιλ) ή πίσω στο χρόνο στην εφηβική μας ηλικία (στην ηλικία εκείνη που φορούσαμε πάντα χρωμα και τόσο όμορφα και ιδιαιτερα σχεδια)! Ότι και αν απο τα δυο προτειμάς, οι δημιουργιες του Petite Utile είναι απαραίτητες για το φετινό Καλοκαίρι! Εγω πάντως ήδη τα απολαμβανω και τα χαιρομαι γιατι απλά λατρευω το χρωμα και τα ιδιατερα σχεδια!

Last day of the nursery school just before summer…
I can remember me, holding a super colorful and vivid folder stuffed with paintings, drawings and collages... Actually I couldn't close it and I had another pack of the sketches and constructions I had made all year there..

And that is how all started.. since then I can call my self a fanatic lover of color and handmade creations. I have a strong will to use handcrafted items in every field of everyday life.
So, I ended up studying graphic design and visual arts - specializing in sculpting.. I now continue to use bright colors in everything I make.

My relationship with jewelry is old and inevitable, as I couldn't find in stores what I had imagined, so, this is how Petite Utile came to my life.. I wanted shiny pieces that I could have them with me – on me (!)

Petite Utile means worthless and precious - in a ‘light’ translation. As I can use real pearls and tissue paper in the same necklace or sandpaper with sterling silver and hose in a brooch.. Apart from that, the name depicts the bond that one can have with specific pieces/jewellery and what these mean to them apart of being comfortable.. ( I'm sure that we all have an aunt wearing the same earrings all the time or a friend who wears a pendant even while sleeping…)

What interests me is how to bring in reality what I have in mind. A small piece of happiness that can accompany whoever is wearing it!
So, I created this cute red-pink logo which firstly came as an idea when I decided the name of the brand..
Colors can transform moods and shapes can bring on senses – this is my moto !
