Diy Colored Paper Majon Jars!

I do not throw anything... and this sometimes my friends , is a big problem! Why? Because I do not own a huge house, so every tiny free space in my place is full of my materials! Papers, boxes, jars, beads, colors, fabrics and so many other! Because every time I see something, I consider it as a material, I try to figure out how to use it and I store it in the boxes for future use! And this time, my space has also corrugated paper in many colors for the ribbons I have created for our Minion Birthday Party. No, I do not throw anything!

So what to do when you just need to organize your space in a better way? Hmm... let me think... what about a coffee and a colored jar that you can use it for your candles or as a vase? No, I am not kidding! Cooffee for you I mean! And how to do that? Scissors for the kids and  let them cut the paper in small pieces! Imagine the silence in my home, during this procedure. The silence was that great that I even enjoyed a cup of coffee (you can do that!). The idea just pompted up of my head, when I saw these paper scraps, to use them as we did last year for our  Decoupage Easter Eggs. And is the most common material you can find on my house? Mason Jars of course!

Materials for the Decoupage Majon Jars:
- Corrugated Paper
- Scissor
- White glue
- Mason Jar
- Paint brush

This was actually a great idea, because every year when the Spring comes and the weather is hot, I always think how to decorate my balcony. Everytime I add a new plant on my collection or flowers or candles or ribbons. These jars were just perfect for this occasion, since I adore to sit on the balcony on hot nights and enjoy a book with my candles around me!

The procedure is really easy! In a plastic drinking cup dilute the white glow with water. Then apply it with the painting brush on the jar and put one by one the paper scraps. Use whatever color of the paper you like and put them on the mason jar without a specific pattern. Mix up the colors and create a hippie vase! Let it dry and enjoy it!!!

My tiny candles just fit perfectly inside the jar, with or without a water. The colors are amazing even in the dark!

I am in love with my jars! One amazing material that you always find a way to use it, just the perect recycle project! And I have another idea for you, so collect more jars and stay tuned for the next post!

What do you think? Is these vases something that you could use in your home?

Happy Crafting!!!

    2. Tina....proofread before you publish. The typos make your idea come across as you are illiterate.
I am sure that this isn't true.
I do like the idea. I did that with my children, years ago.
