Red hot chilled strawberries – Crème de la fraise

I love this time of the year because I can have as many red, juicy and sweet strawberries as I want! I adore strawberries in every way! With sugar, with cream, with chocolate, on ice cream, in a crepe or with nothing more than themselves! I just love them!

However, they don’t last long and since their season is soon going to end…I’ve decided to make them in a liqueur! Crème de la fraise!

A hot red, sweet, tasteful and at the same time very refreshing drink, especially if you drink it chilled. The how to do is very simple, with a few ingredients and ready to drink in just 4 days!

What you’ll need

1kg red hot strawberries
500g confectioner’s sugar
500g brandy

Procedure

Wash the strawberries thoroughly. Cut them in medium sizes pieces and put them in a jug. Add the sugar and the brandy and stir. Take the jug and put it in the fridge for four days. Stir the mixture from time to time to blend the ingredients.

After 4 days, strain the liquid from the mixture (take the strawberries out) and you are set! Keep it in a cool place or the fridge.

This drink’s red color and magnificent aroma is going to make you love it! Enjoy it at room temperature as an aperitif or cold / chilled as a refreshing shoot!

Enjoy!!!!!!!!
