Tomorrow
is a National Holiday for my country and I consider it as a great opportunity
to realize once more in what country we live. Yes, there are huge problems and
life is not that easy any more. The problems are too many that we forget to
laugh, we forget to enjoy simple moments, we forget how beautiful is our
country. And it is sad to see what is the opinion that other countries have for
Greeks. We are people like everyone in this world and we make mistakes…who doesn’t
? But again there are so many good things to find on us…hospitality, cordiality,
humor, earnest…simple people that we used to love life, to enjoy the sea the
sun the nature, that we laugh loudly, that we drink and enjoy delicious food
and we share everything we have with friends and not only. I love my country
and I am really sad and mad about the situation of the past years. But I try
also to be optimistic…and I hope that we will survive and we will became again
the happy people that we used to be.
Αύριο είναι Εθνική Εορτή για τη χώρα μου και
πάντα το θεωρώ μια καλή ευκαιρία να συνηδειτοποιησω και πάλι σε τι υπέροχη χώρα
ζούμε. Φυσικά και έχουμε προβλήματα και μάλιστα μεγάλα και η ζωή δεν είναι εύκολη
πλέον. Τα προβλήματα είναι τόσα πολλά που έχουμε ξεχάσει να γελάμε, έχουμε ξεχάσει
να απολαμβάνουμε τις απλές στιγμές, έχουμε ξεχάσει σε πόσο όμορφη χώρα ζούμε.
Και είναι λυπηρό να βλέπεις ποια είναι η γνώμη των άλλων για τους Έλληνες. Είμαστε
άνθρωποι όπως όλοι σε αυτό τον κόσμο και κάνουμε λάθη…ποιος δεν κάνει; Αλλά και
πάλι έχουμε και τόσα καλά … φιλοξενία, φιλικότητα, χιούμορ, φιλότιμο …απλοί
άνθρωποι που αγαπάμε τη ζωή, απολαμβάνουμε τη θάλασσα τον ήλιο τη φύση, που γελάμε
δυνατά, που πίνουμε και τρώμε νόστιμο φαγητό και μοιραζόμαστε τα πάντα με
φίλους και όχι μόνο. Αγαπώ τη χώρα μου και είμαι στεναχωρημένη και νευριασμένη
με την κατάσταση των τελευταίων χρόνων. Αλλά παράλληλα προσπαθώ να είμαι και
αισιοδοξη…και ελπίζω ότι θα τα καταφέρουμε και θα γίνουμε και πάλι χαρούμενοι όπως
παλιά.
